Plant Bio

Dracaena ‘Golden Heart’

A descendant of species native to areas of Africa, Golden Heart is a rugged, durable plant you can count on for years of beauty in your home. Compared to many more common houseplants, it’s relatively slow growing, but that also means it doesn’t need as much water to survive. As it grows, the lower leaves eventually age and fall off, revealing a tree-like trunk. It gets bigger and better every year!

Note: Dracaena varieties like Golden Heart can be susceptible to high levels of fluoride. If your municipality has high fluoride levels in its water supply, try mixing your tap water with rainwater or distilled water to lower the concentration of this compound.
