Our Story

Costa Farms was started in 1961 when our founder, Jose Costa Sr., immigrated to South Florida from Cuba and purchased 30 acres of land to grow fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes in the winter and citrus in the summer. That soon morphed into houseplants, and three generations later, the Costa family and the Costa Farms Team carry our founder's legacy into the future and are still dedicated to bringing beautiful plants into people's homes.
